Mothers Day

Check out Kirstens cards...........

We've been on holiday

and have we had a great time. Kelly went off to NZ and gets back tomorrow.

I just stayed at home catching up with all those jobs you never get to do.

Ian is back in the UK so its just the girls at home for a while now!! I have finally sorted all the classes for the convention and am waiting on the last imkages from Jill and Rachelle - Jills are almost sold out just a few places left for the Monday.

Rachelles clock is doing really well and the Rusty Pickle mega album will zoom into orbit once the images go up it is fabulous the description does not really do it justice.

Anyway I am off to do the Maya Road draw and load up some mothers day cards

What's your favourite Maya Road product and why?

Tell us now, here to win a Maya Road pack........

Hearts and home

As I have just fallen in love with Maya Road of late I completed this welcome sign for my veranda.

I used the new Hearts and home houses in tins and covered them with the Dream Street papers

Just loving it...........

May Road Triangular banner

This has to be one of my most favourite projects and I made it just for me.

This is the triangular banner album from Maya Road, I used the new Dream Street papers and the Bug and Butterfly Maya Road tins.

This is going to hang up outside my office for all to admire.

I covered the triangles with paper using d/s tape and then stuck them on to Bazzill and cut round them with deckle edge scissors

Many thanks to Sarah Moore from Addicted to Craft for the idea - I saw her pink version and just "had to do one"

Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Melbourne and Gold Coast

All in 7 weeks - and I wonder why I haven't had time to blog..........for all you die hards I have a week to upload a shed load of projects - I have been really busy with the Maya Road sheer stuff and feel quite pleased with myself.........

Here is the Heart Album I turned into a wall hanging for mum.

I stitched the paper on and yes it went through my machine all too easily - even I did not expect it to be quite so straight forward.

Paper is from Kaisercraft - Summer fun and I used the NEW Maya Road alphabet - Jonathon, painted them and then used 3 dimensional Magic to create the raised effect I just love

It really was all to easy

Love Elsie...

Hope you don't mind me butting in Dawn (he, he, he!!) but I had a play with the Love Else range for my current DT challenge.

Initially, I thought I would REALLY struggle with it but I bit the bullet and I'm absolutely thrilled with the result! I think the main thing when using Love Elsie is fun, fun, fun.....terrific for the "wicked" layouts!

I've just doodled on some white cardstock to create a border, and matching doodling around the letter and the arrows (and believe me I am NO doodler!!)

Time flies.........

I love this clock and it was so easy to make up. I used the Reminiscing papers from kaiser which I adore and want to use them on everything.

Crown - boys version

I said I would do one....
It has taken ages to get this photo in and resize it but I was determined.....
I usedsome SEI paper and a Maya Road Arrow from a coaster book.
Instructions can be found in the project section of the website - follow the girl version and amend as per the image.

Boys: 2 Scoopfuls.......

Anyone who thinks boys and pink paper can be inspired by Sarahs take on the Basic Grey 2 Scoops layout of her boys. I love the use of the ribbon and will be trying this for sure.

Notebook Jan 08

I am not the most avid scrapper. Lack of time means my layouts get pushed so far down the queue of things to do - it's just ridiculous!!

This is one I HAD to do. I am a fairly simple scrapper as well, I love the collage style of Marni, Lusi and Jen but when I try it all ends being a bit of a dogs dinner.

Notebook (the magazine) has a theme of white plus one accent colour per issue - the one I was in was white with a touch of yellow - so I thought I should follow it through.

I really liked the way the stamping came through on the alphas.....again not rocket science to most of you but I thought it came out pretty well..

Just a little something...

I have been meaning to make for ages.
