Where does the time go......
Another year is amost over the second busy one for us at Scrapapple. The past 6 weeks have been almost non stop. Recovering from all the shows, getting the stock back in the warehouse, preparing then hostin the Christmas party - which was terrific by the way. .........
...........Our sale, then all our Christmas preparations to name but some of the things we have been doing........
I have been getting ready for a trip home this Christmas to be reunited with my hubbie who has been in the UK for 3 months - we are now all together for a few weeks which will be wonderful for us all. Unfortunatley before we cam awat NSW had some terrible storms and I came home to find the store room 4ft under water sowe lost a great deal of stock and almost all of our samples -This took a huge amount of time to deal with - hence poor blogging - but bigger things have happened in life than this so we will bounce back - fortunately none of the shop stock has been affected as that is with Kelly.
I am back early in the New Year and am going to spend some time updating the blog with some new info and catching up with my making.

Christmas can
I finally got into Christmas mode I really wanted to make something for Penrith and this is what I came up with. I loved it - perhaps I shouldn't say that, it took me a while. I used the Basic Grey papers from last year and added in some simple embellishments like the Kaiser rhinestones, a christmas chip word and the Delish snack pack christmas rub ons.
I cut triangles form CHipboard and used d/s tape to stick the paper on I attached the triangles to dowelling rods using strips of paper.
Use Florists oasis foam (dry) to ensure the rods don't move around in can.
Whilst we don't have the watering can I really did this to show off the water pitchers we have on the stand. I painted it with the Kaiser acrylic paint - you need to give it 2-3 coats and put some Basic Grey flourish rub ons and a large white flower - Bella or Heidi Swapp work well.
Have a go.........

I am off to Melbourne tomorrow so I won't have time to do much blogging - have a great week - hopefully I shall see of your from Victoria
New range
This bag is one of the new range of wire products we are starting to bring in to inspire some extra dimensional scrapping.
I love this "handbag". It comes in 2 sizes and can be complimented by some rather snazzy wire sling backs.
We have yet to figure out a way to prost them so we are taking them to the show and I think this may be a class we offer at the retreat.
